Through this work we have come to value:
- Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
- Working software over comprehensive documentation
- Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
- Responding to change over following a plan
That is, while there is value in the items on
the right, we value the items on the left more.

“Before I attended Lee’s training, the development team I work with claimed to use Agile, but were not executing some key practices to make Agile effective. As the product manager, I saw that the development team was not producing maximum results, but felt like I didn’t have the right tools to help fix the process. After the 2 day training, I came back to my company excited to implement the things I had learned to improve the development process. I made a list of 20 things that I felt needed to be changed in my company in order for us to see the results Lee talked about in his training. After 2 months, I have implemented almost half of the items on my list, and have seen amazing results. Our development team feels that they have more input on our development projects. They don’t feel so overloaded with tasks. The business side of the company feels that development is giving better estimates, and being more transparent. Everyone is happier with the development process, and I’m happier with my job. As a young professional I think a lot about where I want my career to take me. Reaching a pay grade or getting to the C-level was never something that motivated me. After Lee’s trainieffng and seeing the affect I have been able to have on my team by implementing Agile, it has motivated me to master it. If I can help teams work more effectively together and produce better products I will consider my career a success. It is exciting to be able to enable people and teams to work more productively. Thanks Lee!” August 4, 2010

"Lee is an excellent coach/trainer. I took his CSM class and was so impressed that I had my company bring him in-house for a class. While we had been doing Agile for 7 years, he taught us quite a few new practices. The training has transformed the team and revitalized our commitment to Agile. He was very personable, knowledgeable and willing to help. I would definitely recommend the class to anyone, beginner or expert, using Agile methodologies." July 20, 2011

“I recently had the pleasure of meeting Lee and taking his Certified Scrum Master training in Anaheim. I was blown away by his knowledge and training ability. He kept the entire class engaged throughout the training and provided easy to follow instructions. His years of experience allowed him to pepper his instruction with numerous real-world (and entertaining) examples. While I had a good handle on Agile Scrum prior to the training, I am glad to have had the opportunity to gain my official certification with Lee's help and guidance. It was definitely worth the time, expense and effort. I would gladly recommend Lee to any individual or company wanting to gain an better understanding of Agile and Scrum.” April 5, 2011

“I took a ScrumMaster Workshop from Lee in January, 2011. Lee not only has thorough knowledge of Scrum, he also has very impressive experience applying the methodology at well-known companies. This lets him illustrate the material with tons of real-world examples. His enthusiasm for the subject and concern for our learning ensured that we stayed focused and engaged. The many group exercises kept the class from becoming boring. Since Scrum is about teamwork, the exercises stress some key elements of teamwork and decision making, while reinforcing the material. With Lee, you are getting an expert consultant who is also an excellent trainer.” February 3, 2011

“Lee recently taught my ScrumMaster Certification class. Firstly, he is by far and away the best instructor in any class in any topic that I have had. My class held my attention the entire two days, the excercises were relevant, the interaction between the class and Lee was great and Lee knowledge is unsurpassed. Secondly and most importantly, Lee remained after class to work with me on some specific questions that I had regarding my own project and company environment, which was so valuable to me. I highly recommend Lee.” April 19, 2011

"We’re slowly implementing several of the concepts we learned in CSM training. The adoption of and the excitement behind the new t-shirt sizing of stories is refreshing! The web team took a shot at it last week and what started out with a few of the team members sizing the stories (we started before “official” working hours), ended up with the whole team engaged! We’re slowly but surely coaching towards the PO/BA/FA/TA relationship and the ultimate goal is to have the full model presented and in place soon. Thank you again, so much, for this experience. We have excitement about the new things we’re going to achieve and that excitement is definitely contagious!" August 23, 2011
